About this directory
A small, verified directory of emergency plumbers in the Houston metro. Run by Made by Wacho, a one-person studio in Quito, Ecuador.
It exists because the big directories list everyone and sell every lead, and both owners and customers are tired of that.
How listings get here
- We collect businesses from public sources: their own websites, state license lookups, and public listing sites.
- A listing is marked Verified only when name, phone, and address match on two of those sources.
- A city page opens to search engines only once it has enough verified listings to be worth reading.
- Owners can claim a listing for free, edit it themselves, or ask us to remove it. We remove within 7 days.
How we make money
- A Paid listing, $49 a month: a Paid listing chip, a description up to 1500 characters, and quote requests before free listings. It does not change the order inside a city.
- One Featured spot per city page, $199 a month. It sits on top and is always marked Featured.
- Quote requests go to up to three verified pros who have claimed their listing. Featured and paid listings receive them first.

Questions about emergency plumbers in Texas
How can I check whether a Texas plumber's license is active?
Texas plumbers are licensed by the Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners (TSBPE), not by a city. TSBPE's free online License Verification tool shows license status, class (Journeyman, Master, or Responsible Master Plumber), and expiration date.
What can I do while I wait for an emergency plumber?
If only a trickle comes out of a tap, suspect a frozen pipe and keep that tap open: running water helps melt the ice inside. Check every other tap in the house for more frozen pipes. If you cannot reach or thaw the pipe, the American Red Cross advises calling a licensed plumber.
